BIO

Jennifer Coté is an American writer and television producer most known for USA Network’s EYEWITNESS, which won a GLAAD Award for best limited-series. Growing up between a cemetery and a farm on the outskirts of Boston, Massachusetts, Coté dropped out of high school at age 16 but miraculously went on to earn a B.A. in English literature from Mount Holyoke College and an M.F.A. in screenwriting from The University of Texas at Austin. Before achieving even a modicum of success in the entertainment industry, she wrote for a lot of questionable publications and bartended at an assortment of exponentially more questionable honky-tonks. She currently divides her time between Los Angeles and California’s Monterey Peninsula together with her husband, a high-tech founder and former magician.
